David Dufty is a Canberra-based writer and researcher. His most recent book is Nabbing Ned Kelly, the true story of the men who brought the notorious outlaw to justice.
With a PhD in psychology from Macquarie University, David has worked as a statistician and social researcher at the University of Memphis, Newspoll, and the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
He is also the author of The Secret Code Breakers of Central Bureau ( winner of the 2017 Nib Military History Prize); How to Build an Android; and Radio Girl, the story of a pioneering engineer and wartime legend.
