Berry Writers Festival
  21st - 23rd October 2022

Julia Baird

Julia Baird is an Australian journalist, broadcaster and author. She contributes to The New York Times and The Sydney Morning Herald and is a regular host of The Drum, a news review on ABC.

Her book Phosphorescence, was Winner of the ABIA Book of the Year 2021. It is a beautiful, intimate, and inspiring investigation into how we can find and nurture within ourselves that essential quality of internal happiness - the 'light within' that Julia Baird calls 'phosphorescence'- which will sustain us even through the darkest times.
