Jennifer Mors lives in Berry NSW where she is creating a five-acre garden, writes book reviews for the Children’s Book Council of Australia, and volunteers in the Remedial Reading Program at Berry Public School.
Jennifer worked in visual art, craft and design sector for over thirty years - as a practicing artist, tutor, project co-ordinator and art centre manager. After completing a post-graduate degree in Arts Management Degree (UTS), Jennifer worked for a number of national arts organisations to promote and support Australian artist/designers and galleries both domestically and internationally. Jennifer was awarded the Australian Craft Leadership Award by the Australia Council of Australia in 2002 to investigate and create connections with the creative textile community in Como, Italy.
A passion for literature, a love of reading and a keen interest in writing, inspired Jennifer to undertake a post-graduate degree in Writing (UTS). Her 500-word stories have been published on ABC Open and read on ABC Radio Illawarra. Jennifer is a member of the highly-regarded Shoalhaven poetry group, the Kitchen Table Poets.
Jennifer shares her life with a good-humoured husband, a wombat, two elusive echidnas and three charming chooks – as well as a loving, much-loved family and a wonderful regional community.
