The Drawing Stories Workshop provides a nurturing and imaginative educational opportunity for young readers and aspiring writers.

Please note: this class is only available for children aged 6-12 and there are only 16 spaces.

Acclaimed journalist and author David Marr (Killing for Country) will deliver a major address. Drinks by SocialLife, grazing tables by Pickled Ink and music by Clay Zane Comber.

An ‘Evening of Words and Music’ will feature Tim Minchin in conversation with Marc Fennell discussing Tim’s latest work ‘You Don’t Have to Have a Dream’.  Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the festival bookstore on the night and throughout the weekend.

The special evening will also feature live music performances by Lenka, Kain Calcite, and Kay Proudlove (please note Tim Minchin will not be performing at the event).

This will be a highly anticipated event with a ticket required for entry.  Access will be via the Princess St. entrance to the School of Arts with doors opening at 6.00pm.  We anticipate Tim Minchin will be in conversation from 6.30pm. Performances from Lenka, Kain and Kay will follow.

The festival bar inside the School of Arts by SocialLife will provide a range of drinks for purchase and South Coast Paella will offer a tasty supper selection.
