The Drawing Stories Workshop provides a nurturing and imaginative educational opportunity for young readers and aspiring writers.

Please note: this class is only available for children aged 6-12 and there are only 16 spaces.

Anita Ahmadizadeh

Anita Ahmadizadeh is a writer, artist, educator, researcher, and academic in children’s literature. She lives in the Shoalhaven with her husband and young daughter. They have a small micro-sanctuary full of rescued animals, - many of whom inspire wonderful stories.

Anita's workshops are tailored for children aged six to fourteen and provide a nurturing and imaginative educational opportunity for young readers and aspiring writers.

The Berry Writers Festival acknowledges the Dharawal and Dhurga language-speaking groups who are traditional owners of this area. We acknowledge their customs and culture, which have nourished, and continue to nourish, this land. And we extend our respects to Elders, past, present, and future.
