VOLUNTEERING AT THE FESTIVAL

Volunteers are at the heart of the Berry Writers’ Festival. Putting on a festival is a big job, and it takes many hands to make it happen. You don’t need specialist skills or years of experience to be part of it – just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to pitch in.

There are plenty of ways to help over the festival weekend: checking tickets at the door, welcoming and looking after authors, showing guests to their seats, or lending a hand with setting up and packing down. Every role, big or small, is equally important in keeping the festival running smoothly.

Whether you’re young, retired, or somewhere in between, your contribution will make a difference. Volunteering is also a chance to meet new people, support local arts, and enjoy the buzz of being part of the unique Berry community.
