If you’ve been working on a film or tv script, or even just thinking about writing one, this workshop is for you.

In this intensive and practical three-hour session, drawing on her experience as a script developer for film and TV, Nicole will guide you through the key story elements of screen writing, including premise, theme, story world, systems, character, and antagonistic forces.

The Drawing Stories Workshop provides a nurturing and imaginative educational opportunity for young readers and aspiring writers.

Please note: this class is only available for children aged 6-12 and there are only 16 spaces.

The festival will be opened with a smoking ceremony performed by Gadhungal Marring and Welcome to Country by Uncle Gerry Moore and Auntie Delia Lowe.
Acclaimed journalist and author David Marr (Killing for Country) will deliver a major address. Drinks by SocialLife, grazing tables by Pickled Ink and music by Clay Zane Comber.
