Louise started her working career as a lawyer at Allens before going on secondment as Head of Sponsorships for the Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games. This was the start of a capital raising and fund-raising journey that has encompassed the arts, culture, sport and the finance sector. She is the Founder and CEO of Walsh Capital, is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading philanthropic advisers and as a fundraising expert, Louise is a former CEO of Philanthropy Australia.
Her efforts in philanthropic governance and in particular the arts were acknowledged with Louise recently being made a Member of the Order of Australia. Louise is a Board Member of the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation, Trustee of the Snow Foundation and Trustee of the AJACKS Green Family Foundation.
Louise is currently undertaking a special sports project in the lead up to the Brisbane 2032 Games and is a proud founding donor of the Berry Writers’ Festival.
