A deep dive into the craft of writing memoir. This workshop will allow you to let go of the things holding you back from writing your story. We will discuss the common roadblocks of writing memoir; including the ethics of writing other people, how to let go of shame, legal concerns and writing with emotional honesty. This will be a practical session that deep dives into the craft of writing and how to tap into your creative process. We will look at why your story matters and why you are the one to tell it, and how to get those words on the page. This is a workshop for writers at any stage of their writing journey, whether you are an established author looking to hone your non-fiction skills, an emerging writer with a draft that’s just not working, or whether you’re just starting out.
