Christine Dunstan has spent 60 years working in the Australian theatre industry and is one of the country’s most experienced independent theatre producers. Her vast experience has covered all facets of the theatre, from sweeping the stage to creative producer, and everything in between.
As a much sought after Production Manager, Christine has overseen some of the biggest theatrical productions in Australia, as well as in Europe, North America and Asia. For four years she was Director and CEO of the Araluen Centre for Arts and Entertainment in Alice Springs and in 1993 founded Christine Dunstan Productions. Christine has received many major awards, including the Sydney Theatre Critics Lifetime Achievement Award, a Helpmann Award and an OAM for Services to the Performing Arts as a Producer and Mentor.
