Kaya Wilson is a writer, tsunami scientist, and lover of all things ocean who somehow finds himself living in Canberra. Their first book, As Beautiful as Any Other was listed by The Guardian as one of the 25 best Australian books of 2021 and was shortlisted for the ACT Book of the Year in 2022. Their second book, a coming of age novel titled Romeo: A Tale of Four Jumps, was written with an artsACT grant and is currently on submission. Kaya’s work explores themes of gender, identity, science, and the arts.
