At Berry Writers’ Festival, she will introduce A Tree Lover’s Guide to Australia, a richly illustrated journey around the country’s most remarkable trees – from River Red Gums and Bunyas to Moonahs, Jarrahs and Strangler Figs.
Inga is the author of seven acclaimed novels, including Mr Wigg, Nest and Willowman, each infused with her love of the natural world. Her nature memoir, Understory: A life with trees, was shortlisted for the Adelaide Writers’ Week Award for Non-fiction and cemented her reputation as a leading voice on nature and place. Her latest book, A Tree Lover’s Guide to Australia, will be released in November.
