Anthony Levin

A storyteller at heart, Anthony Levin is an award-winning writer, broadcaster and human rights lawyer whose creative work often examines memory and trauma. He has over a decade of experience moderating panels and interviewing public figures with highlights including Stan Grant, Howard Marks and Ben Lee. As a broadcaster, Anthony is co-host of the multi-award-winning SBS podcast Grave Matters which takes a lighter look at death and dying. His writing has appeared in The Guardian, Men’s Style, Prospect Magazine and various books, and he is the inaugural Jacob G. Rosenberg Fellow and writer-in-residence at Monash University. By day, Anthony is a human rights lawyer who specialises in civil liberties and discrimination law. In 2024 he was a Finalist for Government Lawyer of the Year for his advocacy on indigenous healthcare in prison. He is also a devoted husband, and father to a delightful seven-year-old dino-lover.
